What's up With the NFL's Double Standards of Practice?

By Maggie Freleng

Earlier this week, singer MIA reached out to Madonna for some cash.

What sparked the gesture?

Apparently, MIA is being sued for flipping off the camera during her 2012 Super Bowl halftime performance with Madonna. The original suit - which was just $1.5. million - has now reached $16 million.

"I think they'd like to see MIA in bankruptcy court crying for mercy," ABC reported her lawyer, Howard King, saying. "It's not going to happen."

Sound ridiculous? We think so too, which is why we rounded up some of the more ludicrous, even horrifying, practices of the NFL - what they are OK with, and shockingly not OK with. Remember Michael Vick, the convicted criminal who was re-signed by the NFL after being released from prison? Yeah, he's in here. Take a look.
