Time shouldn't be slow, but a timepiece is made made slowly. Usually in Switzerland. This Ipod nano watch, Deckster proclaims itself to be part of the Slow Goods Movement. And it's all made in North America.
Created by Chrystale and Dom Coballe, Deckster is one of several such nano-accessorries,but it stands apart. The 39 pieces in one deckster are alll hand-assembled in the workshop. The holster is all aluminium and the leather bands made in Canada by Fullum & Holt
.
Half tape deck, half watch, the Deckster even has a patent pending for a spring-loaded mechanism that allows the nano to be inserted--in the style of a tape deck.
The tech product has a pretty techie startup myth, the couple raised startup funds on Kickstarter and then CKIE – a crowdfunding platform for product designers.

As of Blackfriday it costs $143.US
and you can buy it here
