Skillcrush and Barnard students have teamed up to let the world know the impact of Malala, and along the way, prove the power of arming women with technical skills.
The undergrads of Barnard are in a 5-week program learning everything from user experience design to HTML/CSS. The revamped Malala website was built as a collaboration between Skillcrush and Barnard students through the Athena Digital Design Agency. Skillcrush alumna Amanda Conrad is leading the project. Talk about seeing real action and change at work. These women are putting their skills to immediate use as they help re-build The Malala Fund’s website. All done in the the spirit of educating more women and girls.
