Mushroom Death Suit: A Burial for the Eco-Friendly?

Jae Rhim Lee is concerned about what happens to the toxins in our bodies after we die. Her quirky solution? To create a "mushroom death suit."

Lee's suit "is training fungi to consume her own body tissue and excretions – skin, hair, nails, blood, bone, fat, tears, urine, feces, and sweat."

When she dies, the "infinity mushrooms" will be buried in her suit to basically live off of and eventually consume her body.

"The cultivation process promotes acceptance of and a personal engagement with death and decomposition."

Talk about someone who is really looking out for our well being. We can thank her when someday our toxic remains are disposed of in an eco-friendly way.
